Split Coupler Split Couplers are designed to connect two ShieldZip™ cable shield lengths together providing uninterrupted shielding. Split Couplers fit inside the ends of the Shield-Zip™ cable shield allowing two lengths to be spliced together. After zipping the cable shield, a hose clamp secures the ShieldZip™ over the Split Coupler. Couplers are fabricated from tin plated 16 gauge low carbon steel ranging from one to six inches in diameter. Material Specifications:
